Module “Photo gallery”

Module “Photo gallery” allows to store and present a big number of images in the structured way.

The initial page of the section is a list of photo gallery categories. Each category contains some randomly chosen images, which are represented as the resized for preview copies and signatures to them. The number of these images and their properties are determined by a design-concept of a site. Each preview copy of an image is a link to the original image file. There is a link to all images of the category under the preview list.

On the category page the preview copies of the images are ordered by date, when they are added to the category, i.e. the first added copy categories are high on the list.

When following the link, located on the resized copy or the image name, a user moves to a page with a full-size image and its description. This page also contains links to the previous and the next images of the category and a link to a list of all the category images.

Administrative interface allows to:

• browse the whole list, add and edit categories;
  
• add and edit the information on the images in each category;
  
• create resized images automatically (for jpg-format only)
