The kernel of ABO CMS system

Management system capabilities vary, depending on the purpose of a particular installation and configuration. However, all the variants of the system are united by a common part—the system kernel, which embodies basic and the most necessary functions of the system.

Page Configurator—each page template consists of some areas. The system allows to edit the contents of each area, located on a page independently, i.e. it allows to delete, paste and replace the information. Visual Editor

Practically all the information, located on a site, is edited by a visual editor, which allows to work with the text and tables, paste images and add links. The system allows to use the table of styles, to keep the style of a text in compliance with the general concept of a site design. for more details…

Access Rights Control

Allows to manage the access rights of employees to the administrative sections of a site. Each user has it’s assigned rights to view, edit and publish in different sections. Thus, an employee, who is responsible for a certain section, has the access only to this section. Accesss rights are changed by the chief manager. Database Backup

Site management system allows to save all the information from the database(damp) into a file and then restore it at any time. At the same time you can always save the data on your computer. for more details…

Internal Links Control

Site management system ABO CMS traces all links to internal pages, which you add, using the visual editor. If the page referred to changes it’s address, the system updates all the documents pointing at this page. Now you can safely move the documents within a site, not worrying about false links.

File Manager

The library of images allows to systematize all the images, which will be put on a site, and store them in different folders. Publishing the documents of different format (Word, Excel, Pdf) won’t make any difficulties for the operator.

Page Caching

Site management system supports intellectual caching, which helps to reduce the load of server in case of high number of web site access.

Multilingual Support

The system allows to support any number of languages on a site. This function is inaccessable to the users of ABO CMS:Promo version only. In all other versions there are no restrictions on creation of multi lingual versions of a site.

Public API

The system has a public API (Application Programming Interface), which gives great opportunities for further system development and integration of new modules both by the employees or partners of the ARMEX company and by a customer himself.
