Module “Voting”

The voting system on a site allows to reveal the strong and weak sides of your products and services, to determine the current and future needs of your clients and simply to find out the opinion of your visitors on any topic. The system substantially simplifies the goals of the marketing department, minimizing the time, spent on carrying out the researches.Via a special user interface it allows to create new questions, manage the existing ones and to handle the received statistical data.

The voting form is located on the pages, where it is stipulated by the design-concept, and it includes a text with a theme of voting and a selector (a set of radiobuttons) with the variants of answers. One of the voting with a set flag “publication” is chosen to be shown to the user, if the current date gets into a range of the starting and expiry dates of this voting. The voting is selected randomly.

After the user has chosen one of the variants of answer, the counter of people who has chosen this answer increments by one. Having answered to a question, the user is sent to the page with the voting results, where he can also see the results of other votings in percentage and absolute ratio.

The manager can browse the list of available votings, add, delete and edit the themes of votings, set the date of commencement and the expiry date, change a list of variants of the answers to a chosen voting.
